Using his circus skills, Mr. Fish proves that science can be amazing, performing tricks involving bubbles, balloons, bull whips, eggs and a table stacked with glasses. Discover the concepts of friction, velocity, and inertia by witnessing a tablecloth safely pulled out from under various objects.  Learn about the structure of Roman arches by the juggling of eggs.  Find out about aerodynamics from flying boomerangs.  Experience a sonic boom with the cracking of a whip.  See how everyday objects can be used to present a wide range of principals. 

July 16th – Native American Music with Dave Ruch

Dave Ruch will give a special concert for children entitled “The Native Americans of New York State”.  Children will delight in learning about New York State’s early inhabitants while singing along (in English and Iroquois!), acting out songs, answering questions and even playing some authentic Iroquois instruments.

A professional musician and educator based in Buffalo NY, Dave gives over 325 concerts & workshops each year for schools, libraries, folk festivals, historical societies, museums and community events.

July 23rd – Christmas in July

The Puppet People present A Christmas Carol

Warm your hearts with Charles Dickens' holiday classic.  Watch Mean Ol' Scrooge as he discovers Christmas is not a HUMBUG!  This puppet spectacular features beautiful handcrafted marionettes, shadow puppets, gorgeous masks, lavish costumes, vivid sets, a professional soundtrack that includes many holiday favorites, a giant 9-foot parade puppet and guaranteed smiles!  Experience this literary masterpiece that reaches far beyond the holiday season!  This program has plenty of fun, and laughter, and is rich with the tradition of the magical art.

July 30th – Caring for the Green Earth with Two of a Kind

Two of a Kind is an award-winning, nationally touring, husband-wife duo from Philadelphia, specializing in interactive music for children and eclectic folk music for adults. David and Jenny Heitler-Klevans have been singing together since 1987. Their energetic, participatory performances are enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Two of a Kind helps audiences of all ages feel that they can create music and that they can make a difference in the world.

August 6th –The Seagle Colony performs Hansel and Gretel

A Children’s Opera Version of Englebert Humperdinck’s beloved masterpiece.

The Seagle Colony offers specifically for children a shortened version of Hansel and Gretel.  This forty-five minute version of the opera follows Hansel and Gretel through the forest and to their eventual triumph over the evil, but hilarious witch.

August 13th – Look Ma! No Words!  Craig Babcock, Mime

Craig is not the traditional mime in white face, but a wry and witty artist who finds humor and surprise in the familiar. He's an armchair athlete of many sports. He's a wide variety of animals strutting and slithering around the room. He's kidnapped by an escalator. Craig's characters are everything we are, mirroring our frailties and realizing our fantasies. This captivating performance is full of humor and imagination, and spiced with audience participation. Craig's unique and universal style will communicate with and mesmerize audiences of every age and size.
